The only difference between the two displays is the Reno 9 Pro has an improved 90Hz refresh rate, compared to the standard Reno 9's 60Hz refresh rate. This makes for a smoother experience when scrolling through apps or web pages. Both displays are equipped with a fingerprint scanner for added security and come with HDR10 and DCI-P3 color gamut support. In addition, the Reno 9 Pro also features a higher peak brightness of 800 nits.

Camera

When it comes to the camera, both the OPPO Reno 9 and the OPPO Reno 9 Pro have quite a few similarities. They both feature a 48MP triple-camera setup, with an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 2MP mono lens. This combination of cameras allows for excellent quality images, along with great depth of field.

The OPPO Reno 9 also features an AI portrait mode and AI scene detection. This helps capture the perfect image with automatic settings and adjustments. The AI is also used to optimize the lighting in photos to ensure they look their best.

The OPPO Reno 9 Pro ups the ante a bit by offering a larger primary sensor (64MP) compared to the Reno 9, as well as a dedicated telephoto lens (13MP) with 5x optical zoom. The Pro also includes an Ultra Night Mode which allows you to take better low-light shots. Both devices include an LED flash.

Overall, both devices offer excellent camera performance, although the OPPO Reno 9 Pro has a slight edge due to its larger sensor and telephoto lens.

When it comes to performance, both the OPPO Reno 9 and OPPO Reno 9 Pro pack a punch. The Reno 9 is powered by the Mediatek Helio P90 octa-core processor which provides smooth performance for basic tasks. Meanwhile, the Reno 9 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 765G octa-core processor which is a bit more powerful and efficient, allowing for more intensive activities like gaming.

Both smartphones are also equipped with 8GB of RAM, giving you plenty of multitasking power. Storage wise, the Reno 9 features 128GB of internal storage while the Reno 9 Pro has up to 256GB. Both devices come with UFS 2.1 storage, ensuring fast data transfer speeds and improved battery life.

On the other hand, if you have a bit more to spend, then the OPPO Reno 9 Pro could be the perfect phone for you. With its higher price tag comes a few additional features such as a larger display, a better camera, and improved performance.

Ultimately, which one you choose comes down to your own personal preferences and budget. If you need a reliable phone with great features but don't want to break the bank, then the OPPO Reno 9 might be the ideal choice for you.
